Woodcrest Hills, United States • 19 Sep 2026

Event Overview

The Dirt Circuit is a timed ultra-marathon event held at Panther Creek State Park in Morristown, Tennessee. The event features a looped trail course.

Course Details

The course is a 2.9-mile loop that starts and finishes at the park's soccer fields, which serve as a base camp. The trail resembles a cross-country course, combining wide and single-track sections through fields and woods. It includes two wooden bridge crossings and offers scenic views of Panther Creek.

Event Format

Participants can choose from several timed race options: 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour individual events. There are also 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour team relay options for groups of six people. A separate 6-hour ruck event requires participants to carry a weighted pack.

Race Logistics

The event is a cup-free race; runners must carry their own hydration systems. One aid station at the base camp provides water, electrolyte drinks, gels, fruit, snacks, and cooked food like pizza and burgers throughout the event. Primitive camping at the base camp is included with registration for Friday and Saturday nights.

Registration & Policies

Race entries are non-transferable and non-refundable. T-shirts and finisher awards are guaranteed only for registrations before a specified cutoff date. The event is a qualifier for The Cherokee Ultra; completing a 50k distance qualifies participants for that race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
