The Panther Creek Challenge is a trail race event held at Panther Creek State Park in Morristown, TN. Runners start and finish at the Overlook pavilion in the northwest corner of the park. The event includes multiple race options and student and kids categories.

Both main courses begin at the overlook, descend a steep single track, and follow a series of circuitous loops through woods and along the lake. The half marathon course notes indicate roughly 1800 feet of elevation gain with two aid stations that are visited multiple times. The 10K course notes indicate roughly 1200 feet of elevation gain with two aid stations. Aid and water stations are provided but only very small cups will be offered; runners are encouraged to carry personal water.
Race policies include no refunds and no bib transfers. Course etiquette and safety rules prohibit headsets, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades and pets on the course. A minimum pace of 18:00 per mile will be enforced and a course sweeper will operate. Younger runners on the adult courses must be accompanied by an adult. Treadin' Trodden Trails series rules apply for points and series awards and limited edition series T shirts are issued one per runner per season.
