The Dark Side 8 Hour Ultra is an eight-hour trail race at Little Bennett Park in Montgomery County, Maryland, near Clarksburg. The course is a 5.5-mile loop run mostly on single-track trails, starting at the Little Bennett Campground Pavilion. Runners may complete as many laps as they wish within the 8-hour period, embracing a dark-side theme.

The event uses the same course as 2025. Aid stations provide water, hydration options, and ultrafare such as potatoes, broth, bacon, and French toast sticks, with muffins a favorite.
