Most of the courses are run on dirt and single-track trails. Aid stations are positioned around the loops and typically offer water, Tailwind endurance fuel, soda, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, and basic station facilities such as porta potties. Drop bags and crew assistance are allowed only at the Start/Finish area. Pacers are permitted for the 100K and 50M under organizer rules (one pacer at a time; pacers must check in and begin pacing from Start/Finish); pacers are not allowed for shorter distances. Runners receive complementary park entry before the race; crew and spectators entering after the race begins require a Daily or Annual Park Pass.
