Thames Path Ultra Challenge

The Thames Path Ultra Challenge is a multi-distance walk, jog and run event that follows the River Thames towpath from Putney Bridge to Henley. The route passes through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede and Windsor and finishes beside the river in Henley. The event is scheduled for 12/13 September 2026 and 11/12 September 2027.

There are additional weekend options such as a separate 25 km Thames Bridges Trek and The Moonlight 10 Walk in Central London. Entry choices include solo starts, an Ultra March option and a Trailblazerz option. Camping packages, transfers and food and drink options are offered as part of the event services.

Support and event logistics feature covered rest stops roughly every 12.5 km with major stops about every 25 km, marquee cover, medical teams, podiatry and massage services, and self help supplies for feet care. A route marking system and a challenge app provide GPS tracking while the timing system scans progress at rest stops with a staffed control room. Shuttle buses to local train stations and onsite parking at many finish locations are available. A weekend running festival at Blackland Farm on 18–19 July 2026 offering 1-mile lap formats: 24-hour and 12-hour solos, team relays, plus P24 and P12 paced challenges. Off-road course, camping included and limited Bell Tent upgrades.

Pretty Muddy 5k at Tilgate Park in Crawley is an obstacle course around Tilgate Lake with climbs, crawls and slides. The event raises funds for Cancer Research UK and offers on-site toilets, refreshments and parking.

A muddy 5k obstacle course at Stoke Park in Guildford on 18 July 2026 with staggered wave starts. Entry fees and a minimum fundraising target apply; participants must be 13 or older.

A group trail run from Dorking Station through Denbies Wine Estate and the North Downs, followed by stone baked pizza and a guided Denbies wine tasting. Options include an 8 km loop or a 5 km walk.
