Tenderfoot Boogie 2026
Tenderfoot Boogie is a trail race in Whistler, British Columbia, with start and finish at Bayly Park. Courses run through west coast forests and along glacier fed streams, spanning the area from Brandywine Falls in the south to Rainbow Falls in the north.
Distances offered:
- 12K - shorter route with a water station at 7 km
- 26K - longer route reaching Brandywine Falls with more technical sections
- 50K - longest route featuring significant climbing and varied technical terrain
All distances follow the same initial route before turning back or looping to reach the designated distance. The 12K and 26K and the first half of the 50K are out and back. The second half of the 50K is a double lollipop. A Train Wreck loop near the start is optional for runners who choose it.
This is a trail event rather than a road race; some sections are rocky, steep, loose or slippery. Pacers are not permitted. Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte, snacks and fruit; the event is cupless so runners must carry their own cup or flask. Organisers note a likely course change south of the Cal-Cheak suspension bridge for the 26K and 50K due to trail access issues. The race also functions as a fundraiser for Zero Ceiling and for WORCA.
