Tenderfoot Boogie 2026

Tenderfoot Boogie takes place on June 20, 2026 in Whistler, British Columbia. All distances start and finish at Bayly Park and follow trails that extend roughly from Brandywine Falls in the south to Rainbow Falls in the north. The route passes through west coast forest and along glacier fed streams and rivers.

Distances

  • 12 km: shorter course with a turnaround water station near 7 km.
  • 26 km: extends south to Brandywine Falls and includes more technical sections.
  • 50 km: longest route with sustained climbing and a variety of trail types.

Update May 3, 2026: there is a course change south of Cal-Cheak campground for the 26 km and 50 km routes; distances and elevation remain similar. The 12 km course is unaffected. Courses may change due to trail access or maintenance.

This is a trail race, not a road run. Expect rocky, steep or slippery sections and a slower trail running pace than an equivalent road distance. Pacers are not allowed. Runners should be courteous to hikers and mountain bikers. The 50 km route crosses Highway 99 at a pedestrian signal and must be crossed at the walk signal.

Aid stations provide water, electrolyte, energy gels, cookies, chips, cola and fruit. The event is cupless so runners must carry a cup or flask; a Speedcup is provided at registration. Drop bags are accepted at the start and 50 km drop bags are available at 27 km. Registration fees cover race services and include a donation to WORCA. The event raises funds for Zero Ceiling and WORCA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
