Ten Trails Trot n' Treat Relay Scramble

Black Diamond, United States • 28 Oct 2026

Event Overview

The Ten Trails Active Club Trot n' Treat Relay Scramble is a themed athletic event held in Black Diamond. This competition deviates from traditional running races by incorporating a scavenger hunt objective. Participants work in teams to locate six designated ghosts and return them to gravestones located in Civic Park.

Race Format and Rules

The event is organized as a relay scramble with specific participation guidelines:

  • Teams consist of one, two, or three members.
  • All participants compete in a single division regardless of team size.
  • Only one ghost may be captured and returned at a time.
  • Teammates in multi-person groups must alternate legs and capture an equal number of ghosts.
  • Any route can be used to reach the ghost locations and return to the park.

Safety and Equipment

There is no marked course for this event, so participants are responsible for choosing their own paths and safely crossing streets. As the event takes place in the evening, the use of headlamps and flashlights is encouraged. Children are permitted to participate; however, younger participants must be accompanied by an adult during their relay legs.

Awards are presented for the fastest completion time, the best team name, and the best team costumes. An additional prize is available for finding a specific bonus ghost. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
