TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR) : Event description

The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR) is a three-day stage relay held in North Central Washington with daily routes based in mountain towns. Teams of eight runners share each stage, with cumulative team times recorded across the event.

Each day covers approximately 75 miles divided into 16 legs, using a mix of singletrack trails, logging roads, and paved sections. Routes change each day and include segments listed as follows: Day 1 starts in Leavenworth and travels alpine forests and ridgelines; Day 2 passes through Cashmere and runs among orchards and foothills; Day 3 moves from Entiat to Lake Chelan and finishes near the lakeshore.

Navigation relies on printed materials and minimal course markings. Participating teams receive PDF maps with elevation details and turn-by-turn descriptions prior to the event and are expected to provide their own transportation, hydration, and food. Portable toilets are provided at designated areas and teams must pack out other waste.

Medical coverage includes a certified medical professional on course daily, with coordination available with regional hospitals if needed. Included in the entry are finisher awards, event photos, a captain's dinner and meeting, and a post-race celebration with food and drinks.

Entry is limited in the first year to 30 teams. The event lists an entry fee of $1,600 per team with posted team-captain registration fees shown as $1,723.39 to reflect mandatory charges. Team member registration and an individual waitlist option are available; the waitlist does not guarantee entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
