TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (Tour)
Leavenworth, United States • 19 Jun 2026
Event overview
The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR) is a three-day stage relay held in North Central Washington on June 19–21, 2026. The event is based at Leavenworth Ski Hill and runs distinct routes each day through regional terrain. Teams are composed of up to eight runners and compete as a team with cumulative times recorded.
Format and course
The race follows a stage format with daily routes and shared transitions each evening. Each day’s course is approximately 75 miles divided into 16 legs, navigated using printed maps and elevation guides rather than digital maps or chip timing. The three daily routes are described as follows: Day 1 around Leavenworth through alpine forests, mountain trails, and ridgelines; Day 2 near Cashmere through orchards, vineyards, and foothills; Day 3 from Entiat to Lake Chelan across remote terrain, finishing on the lakeshore.
Logistics and support
Teams provide their own transportation, hydration, and food. Minimal course markings are used; PDF maps with turn-by-turn descriptions and elevation details are provided before the event. A certified medical professional (EMT or higher) is on course daily and coordinates with regional hospitals if needed. Facilities include portable toilets at designated areas and teams are required to pack out waste. Year 1 is limited to 30 teams. Registration is handled by a team captain who pays for the team; team members can add themselves afterward. Finisher awards, event photos, a captain’s dinner and a post-race celebration are included.
