Leavenworth Trail Fest

Leavenworth Trail Fest takes place on May 29, 2027 in Leavenworth, Washington. The event centers at the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area and presents multiple trail race distances and a small festival atmosphere near the base of the ski hill.

• 50K Ski Hill 50k - two loops of the 25k Skyline course.
• 25K Leavenworth Skyline 25K - new loop on the north side of Tumwater Mountain.
• 5K The Town 5k - shorter town and trail course for families and youth.
• Kids Race short youth race before the 5k.

The Skyline 25K has about 3,700 feet of elevation gain and follows ridgelines and forest service doubletrack to a high point near the Tumwater Paraglider Launch. It is part of the Vert Running Series with Elite, Masters, and Sport divisions and awards at-the-high-point titles called King, Queen, and Monarch.

The Ski Hill 50K is two laps of the 25K course with approximately 7,500 feet of elevation gain. The 50K course includes seven aid stations and a 10 hour cutoff.

Festival elements include packet pickup at the Ski Hill Lodge, a Trail Family Food Tent with a post-race meal for 25K and 50K participants, live music, a kombucha keg, a kids race, and community activities such as an inflatable costume race.
