About Tails on Trails
Tails on Trails is the primary annual fundraising event for the Humane Society London & Middlesex (HSLM), held at Springbank Park in London, Ontario. Formerly known as Walk for the Animals, this event encourages community participation to support at-risk animals in the London and Middlesex region. Proceeds go toward medical care, shelter, and resources for animals in need.
Participants can choose from two different distances:
- 1 km: a dedicated walking route.
- 5 km: a route open to both runners and walkers.
The 5 km distance features optional chip timing for those who request it. Registered participants receive a race pack that includes an event t-shirt, a running bib, a dog cookie, and coupons. The event also hosts Corporate and Youth Team challenges, where participants can earn digital and physical medals based on fundraising milestones.
