Persistence Backyard Ultra
The Persistence Backyard Ultra is an endurance running event held at Eco Park in Arva, Ontario, Canada. Participants run a 6.7056 km loop every hour, repeating it until only one runner remains, testing their persistence and stamina. The course features a runnable mix of crushed stone trails, grass, and dirt roads around a pond, with runners never far from race headquarters.
The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and capped at 65 participants. It supports the Children's Health Foundation and offers prizes including the prestigious Laz Jacket and a bronze coin. The race fosters a supportive atmosphere for runners aiming to set personal bests or qualify for Big Dog's Backyard Ultra. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
