The course is an approximately 3.36 kilometre loop that must be completed twice consecutively each hour to form the required 6.7056 kilometre hourly loop. The route includes crushed stone trail, some grass, and a dirt road, and it passes around a pond. Eco Park is a private facility; the course will not be accessible prior to race day and will be set up on the day of the event.

Entry is capped at 67 participants and there will be no waitlist. Athletics Ontario has sanctioned the race since its first edition and sanctioning for this edition is being pursued. Official affiliated Backyard Ultra rules apply; bibs must be worn visibly on the front. Spectators are not allowed. Each runner may have two crew members at the start; crew may change during daylight hours and may assist other runners as participants are eliminated.

Runners must bring their own food and drinks; there is no potable water on site though some hydration options will be provided. Limited electricity and a barbecue are available. Medical staff will be on site and may withdraw runners deemed unsafe to continue. A portion of registration fees is donated to the Children's Health Foundation.
