The Sussex Downs Trail Run takes place on Saturday 28th November 2026 in the South Downs National Park, Mid-Sussex. The event starts at Plumpton Racecourse. The race is organised by Run Rebel and is described as being within easy reach of Brighton, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Burgess Hill and the A27/A23.

Course details

Routes begin with a flattish, tree-lined warm-up section of about 3.5 km, followed by a climb up to the South Downs Way. From the ridge there are views over the Sussex countryside, the Seven Sisters Country Park and the sea. The course includes a loop on trails toward Brighton, a return to the South Downs Way, a descent from the hilltop and a flat final 3 km to the finish.
