Surfaces include singletrack, wider ranch roads, some low traffic dirt and short paved sections (25K about 2 miles; 50K and 50M about 4.8 miles total). The 50M and 50K share early and late race sections; the 25K uses Moccasin Lake Ranch for roughly half its distance.
Logistics and race operations include well marked courses using ribbons and arrow signs, drop bag support at specified aid stations, volunteer staffed aid stations offering water, electrolyte drink, simple food and first aid supplies, and no crew vehicle access on the course. Dogs are not allowed on the race course; leashed dogs are allowed at the Big Twin finish area. The activity operates under a special use permit with the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest.
