Summits Trail Runs
The Human Potential Running Series stages the Summits Trail Runs at Granby Ranch Resort in Granby, Colorado on June 6, 2026. The event offers multiple trail distances and a timed elevation-based challenge. Runner capacity is 250 combined and time limits vary by event. The Elevation Challenge is scored by total elevation climbed; each loop used for that challenge is 1.92 miles with 832 ft climb and 832 ft descent (1,664 ft total change) and only complete loops count toward results.

Logistics and race services
Included items and services listed by the organizer include a gender-specific race shirt, a finisher’s medal, and well-stocked aid stations. Course maps, elevation profiles, and an aid station chart are made available as downloadable PDFs and interactive maps. Camping near the start/finish requires a separate reservation; tent or vehicle sites are $20 per night, and camper vans/trailers under 16 ft are $50 per night. Camping sites have porta-potty access only; no running water or electricity is provided.
Spectators are permitted only at the start/finish area. Crews and pacers are allowed only for the Elevation Challenge; crew size is limited to three people at any one time. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish aid station, with additional drop-bag options for some multi-loop entries. All finishers receive a unique finisher’s award; the series does not offer podium or age-group awards. Registration opens December 1, 2025.
