The Summits Trail Runs take place at Granby Ranch Resort in Granby, Colorado on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The Elevation Challenge uses repeated loops on the West Peak service road. Each loop is 1.98 miles with 766 feet of climb and 766 feet of descent. Only complete loops count toward a participant’s total elevation.
Logistics and support
Start/finish is at Granby Ranch Resort, 1000 Village Rd, Granby, CO 80446. Participant check-in is offered the Friday evening before the event (optionally) and on race morning at the start/finish area. A virtual pre-event briefing is held during the week before the race.
Aid stations are provided and described as well stocked; specific aid station locations and charts are available for participants. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish aid station, with additional drop bag options for Half Marathon, Marathon, and 50k at the Bootlegger aid station.
Camping is available in a secured parking lot by reservation through Granby Ranch Resort; fees apply and facilities are limited (porta-potty only, no running water or electricity). Spectators are allowed only at the start/finish area; crews and pacers are prohibited.
