  • Elevation Challenge
  • 50k
  • Marathon
  • Half Marathon
  • 6 Mile

Courses run on single-track trails, alpine meadows, and aspen groves. Routes include varying elevation gain and mountain terrain. Aid stations are provided along the courses.

Logistics and race format

The Start/Finish is at Granby Ranch Resort (1000 Village Rd, Granby, CO). Event check-in is offered the Friday night prior and on event morning at the Start/Finish area. Drop bags are allowed at the Start/Finish aid station; some multi-loop events may also use an additional aid station.

The Elevation Challenge scores participants by total elevation climbed rather than distance. Each loop is 1.92 miles with 832 feet of climb and 832 feet of descent (1,664 feet of total elevation change). Only complete loops count toward the total. Camping near the Start/Finish requires a reservation and a per-night fee; porta-potties will be available but no running water or electricity is provided. All finishers receive a unique finisher's award; there are no podium or age-group awards and no awards will be mailed. Time limits vary by event.
