Snow Mountain Ranch Trail Running Festival takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Granby, Colorado (1101 County Rd 53). Race distances offered are:

• 50K
• 33K
• Half Marathon
• 10K
• 5K

Registration closes Monday, September 7 at 11:59 PM MT. Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Bib pickup is on-site on race day only. The event operates as a cupless race; reusable cups will be available for purchase at registration and on race day. Live tracking and race photos are provided. Lodging and camping are available at the YMCA of the Rockies on property; campground pricing and room options are noted on the event page.

Course details

All courses use dirt or dirt-and-grass trails and run on varied terrain with rolling hills and alpine views. Key course facts by distance:

• 50K: 31.4 miles on 100% dirt, out-and-back with a lollipop, three loops, total elevation gain 4,236 feet, peak elevation 9,844 feet. Three aid stations per loop, drop bags allowed, pacers permitted for the final loop only. Runners must begin the third loop before the published cutoff to finish within the overall time limit.

• 33K: Two-loop route on dirt and grass trails with roughly 2,417 feet of elevation gain and a peak elevation of 9,844 feet. Multiple aid stations support the course.

• Half Marathon: Single loop of 12.8 miles on dirt, elevation gain 1,707 feet, peak elevation 8,640 feet, four aid stations.

• 10K: Single loop of 6.1 miles on dirt, elevation gain 653 feet, peak elevation 9,844 feet, two aid stations.

• 5K: Out-and-back of 3.3 miles on dirt, elevation gain 405 feet, peak elevation 8,639 feet, one aid station. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
