Snow Mountain Ranch Trail Running Festival
The Snow Mountain Ranch Trail Running Festival takes place on September 18, 2027 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Granby, Colorado. This is the 13th annual running festival held at Snow Mountain Ranch and it offers multiple trail distances on the property’s Nordic and dirt trails.
Race distances include:
- 50K : 31.4 miles, 3 loops
- 33K : 20.2 miles, 2 loops
- Half-Marathon : 12.8 miles, 1 loop
- 10K : 6.1 miles
- 5K : 3.3 miles
Course notes: most courses are 100% dirt; the 33K uses dirt and grass trails. Individual course details list total elevation gain, maximum elevation, number of aid stations, and loop or out-and-back formats. Time limits are posted for each distance. The 50K has three loops with 4,236 feet of total ascent and requires runners to begin the third loop before the six hour mark; pacers are allowed on the final loop only. Pacers are not permitted for other distances.
Support and logistics: aid stations are located on course, drop bags are available at the start/finish area, and crews may support runners at the finish. Onsite parking is provided near the Nordic Center or Event Center. Registration closes on September 7, 2027. Distances may vary slightly year to year due to permitting.
