The Snow Mountain Ranch Trail Running Festival takes place at the YMCA of the Rockies in Granby, CO on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event offers multiple race distances starting and finishing near the YMCA event center at 1101 County Rd 53, Granby, CO. Courses run through aspen groves, rolling hills, and mountain views on dirt and grass trails. A designated area at the start/finish will hold personal drop bags for looped courses. Crews are allowed to support runners at the finish line. The event uses a cupless system for aid stations and provides reusable cups for purchase.

Courses

50KM: The 50K course covers 31.4 miles on 100% dirt terrain. It is an out-and-back with a lollipop section and uses three loops, each with about 1,412 ft of elevation gain for a total gain of 4,236 ft. The route reaches a max elevation of 9,844 ft, includes a major climb from Mile 3 to Mile 6 on each loop, and has three aid stations per loop. Pacers are allowed on the final loop only. The time limit is 8.5 hours.

33KM: The 33K course covers about 20.2 miles on dirt and grass trails with a total elevation gain near 2,417 ft and a max elevation of 9,844 ft. It is an out-and-back with a lollipop section and two loops. Major climbs occur around Mile 3-6. Aid stations are placed on each loop. The time limit is 8 hours.

Half-Marathon: The half-marathon is 12.8 miles on 100% dirt, out-and-back with two lollipop sections. Total elevation gain is 1,707 ft and max elevation is 8,640 ft. There are four aid stations.

10KM: The 10K is 6.1 miles on 100% dirt with 653 ft elevation gain and a max elevation of 9,844 ft. The course has two notable climbs and two aid stations.

5KM: The 5K is 3.3 miles on dirt with 405 ft elevation gain and a max elevation of 8,639 ft. It is an out-and-back with one aid station. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
