The Snow Mountain Ranch Trail Running Festival takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the YMCA of the Rockies in Granby, Colorado. The event includes multiple race distances and two multi-event challenges: the Moosehead Challenge and the Baby Moose Challenge. Registration closes Monday, September 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM MT. Lodging and camping are available on the YMCA property, including campground options with electricity and full bathroom facilities.

Courses
All courses use trail terrain; most routes are 100% dirt or a mix of dirt and grass. Races are high altitude, with maximum elevations reported near 9,844 ft for some distances. Aid stations and a designated drop bag area are provided on looped courses. The event operates a cupless policy with reusable cups available for purchase.
The 50K is an out-and-back with a lollipop section and three loops. Total elevation gain is 4,236 ft (about 1,412 ft per loop). Aid stations are placed multiple times per loop. Pacers are allowed on the final loop only. An overall time limit is in place.
The 33K, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K use out-and-back or lollipop formats with varying loop counts, aid station coverage, and elevation gains: the 33K gains about 2,417 ft, the half gains 1,707 ft, the 10K gains 653 ft, and the 5K gains 405 ft.
