Summer Sunset Half & Long Ten 2026

Summer Sunset Half & Long Ten takes place in Perranporth on 11 July 2026, organised by Purple Gecko Events. The programme includes a half marathon route that goes from The Watering Hole in Perranporth out to The Bowgie Inn at Crantock and back, and a long 10.5 km run along the Cornish coast that finishes on Perranporth Beach. The event is held in support of Cornwall Air Ambulance; charity places are available and entrants can make an optional donation on entry.

The event uses ST App Service for timing; there will be no chip timing. Cut-off times are applied: a four hour overall cut off for the half marathon with a two hour cut off at the turnaround point, and a two hour cut off for the 10.5 km. Medals are provided for all competitors, with awards for top finishers and free race photography. Registration closes 30 June 2026. A coastal running event on 19 July 2026 between Harlyn Beach and Padstow supporting Padstow Rowing Club. Races include a 10.5 km and a half marathon with personalised bibs, medals for all, and free race photography.

A village running event in Tywardreath featuring a 6.79 mile multi terrain race and a 1 mile fun run as part of the summer fete. Proceeds support local charities and the event has raised over £50,000 since 2006.

An off road coastal 10 km across beach, dunes and Towans paths on 6 August 2026, with a separate 1 mile beach fun run for under 16s. Chip timed event with a water stop and medals for all finishers.

West 100 is a crewed, self-navigation 100 mile team event in Cornwall with three coastal routes, mandatory qualifying criteria and a 36 hour completion limit; organisers provide crew support, food and checkpoint meeting every 5 to 6 miles.
