The Summer Sunset Half & Long 10 takes place on Saturday 11 July 2026 on the north coast of Cornwall. The event raises funds for Cornwall Air Ambulance, with donations accepted on entry or on the day. Race registration is held at local venues in Crantock and Perranporth.

Course, safety and facilities

The routes follow the north coast path between Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club, Perranporth beach and the Bowgie Inn at Crantock. Head torches are essential for competitors. Runners are asked to carry a mobile phone and bring fluid. The half event has a four hour overall cut off and a two hour cut off at the turnaround checkpoint.

There will be a checkpoint with fluid and sugary snacks at the Bowgie turnaround. Limited toilets are available in the club; main beach car park toilets are noted as an alternative. All finishers receive a medal and there will be awards for top finishers. Personalised race bibs are available for entrants who register at least one week before the event.
