Summer Sunset Half & Long Ten 2026

The event takes place in Perranporth on 11 July 2026 and comprises two evening road races along the Cornish coast. It is organised by Purple Gecko Events and supports Cornwall Air Ambulance with charity places and an optional donation at entry.

The Half follows an out-and-back route between The Watering Hole in Perranporth and The Bowgie Inn at Crantock. The Long 10k follows the coast and finishes on Perranporth Beach. The event applies an overall time limit for the Half and specific turnaround and cutoff points for each race.

Event services include GPS tracking for sharing routes, a feed station at the halfway point, medals for all finishers, awards for top finishers and free race photography. Trail runs nearby

A timed 20k coastal trail from Portreath beach to Perranporth with one stocked checkpoint, finisher medals and awards for the top three men and women. The event raises funds for Man Down Cornwall and has an optional return minibus.

A Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Stithians Showground on 09 May 2026, with grassy and gravel terrain, staggered wave starts and on-site parking; minimum fundraising target applies and the event is for ages 13 and over.

An off-road 10K on the Cornish coast starting and finishing at Trevornick Holiday Park, part of the Cornish Grand Prix series, featuring multi-terrain sections, cliff-side elevation and variable coastal conditions.

Way marked half marathon across Cornwall from Portreath to Devoran Quay that follows historic 1812 transport routes. One checkpoint provides fluids and snacks; entrants must carry fluid and a mobile phone and canicross entries are welcome.
