Summer Sunset Half & Long Ten 2026
Summer Sunset Half & Long Ten is a pair of evening road races in Perranporth on 11 July 2026, organised by Purple Gecko Events and held in support of the Cornwall Air Ambulance. The event includes a half marathon and a long 10k along the Cornish coast.
The Half Marathon follows a route from The Watering Hole in Perranporth out to The Bowgie Inn at Crantock and returns to Perranporth. The half marathon has a four hour overall cut off, with a two hour cut off at the turnaround point. The 10.5 km race starts at The Bowgie Inn and finishes on Perranporth Beach, with a two hour cut off. Both races are described as taking place at sunset.
Event services include GPS tracking, a feed station at the halfway point, medals for all competitors, awards for top finishers and free race photography. Timing is provided via ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Charity places are available and entrants can make an optional donation to the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
