Summer Sizzler Gravel Race

The inaugural Summer Sizzler Gravel Race is scheduled for June 28, 2026, at Klondike Park in Augusta, Missouri (4600 South Missouri 94). The event centers on a timed 5K held mostly on non-technical gravel trails that use sections of the Katy Trail and local gravel paths around the park.

The course starts and finishes near Shelter #3, then heads down to the Katy Trail to run east along the bluffs before connecting to the Lewis & Clark Trail and returning along the lake. The route passes bluffs, waterfront areas and views of the nearby Missouri River.

Registration includes a custom race singlet and a post-race breakfast. The event program also lists a post-race gathering by the lake with refreshments, and a waterfront white sand beach for relaxation. Custom, locally designed awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers.

Packet pickup is offered the day before at Fleet Feet Chesterfield on Saturday, June 27, and onsite packet pickup is available on race day. Sponsors mentioned for the event include Start 2 Finish, Good News Brewing Company, and Fleet Feet. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
