Event overview

Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races is an overnight trail running event at Indian Camp Creek Park in Foristell, Missouri on June 27-28, 2026. Race options are:

• 10K
• 6 hours timed ultra
• 9 hours timed ultra

Entry includes overnight camping at the park, a custom finisher medal, and free digital race photos. Online registrations have a swag order deadline of May 17, 2026, and online registration ends June 21, 2026. Race day/onsite registration is offered with published fees and limited swag availability.

Course and race format

Races use an approximately 6.7-mile loop that combines open-field crossings and wooded single-track on mainly dirt with some rock. The organizers note loop mileage is approximate and a single loop may measure slightly over 10K. The 10K event is one loop; the timed ultras are based on completing as many loops as possible within the time limit. Published loop targets list the 6-hour option as about 20.1 miles (3 loops) and the 9-hour option as about 26.8 miles (4 loops). A 50K mashup requires five loops.

Logistics, aid and sustainability

The start/finish is at the Boy Scout camping shelter/area. One aid station at the start/finish provides water, electrolyte drink, gels, snacks, basic first aid and restrooms. All participants must carry a handheld or hydration vest. The event is cup-free; runners should bring a personal drinking receptacle. Post-race grab-n-go snacks are provided.
