Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races

Dark 2 Dawn is an all-night trail event at Indian Camp Creek Park in Foristell, MO, offering timed ultra options and a 10K distance. The start and finish are at the Boy Scout camping shelter area at 2679 Dietrich Road.

The races use an approximate 6.7 mile loop that combines open-field crossings and wooded singletrack. The footing is mainly dirt with some rock and the terrain ranges from flat to rolling hills. The 10K is one loop. The 6 hour and 9 hour events are timed ultras in which participants run as many loops as they complete within the event time frame. Loop mileage is approximate and may be slightly higher than the suggested 10K per loop.

There is one aid station at the start/finish with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, snacks, basic first aid and volunteers. Restrooms are available at the start/finish. Participants must carry a handheld or use a hydration vest. This is a cup free event; participants are asked to bring their own drinking receptacle and mess kit. Collapsible cups will be available for purchase at check in for $5 while supplies last.

Important registration dates include an April 30 swag order deadline and an online registration end date of June 21, 2026. Online registrants receive a technical shirt or may opt out to plant a tree, overnight camping, free digital photos and a custom finisher medal. Awards for top male, female and non binary performers are based on loops completed and time. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal based on loops completed.
