Dark 2 Dawn is an all night trail run held at Indian Camp Creek Park, 2679 Dietrich Road, with the start and finish at the Boy Scout camping shelter area. The event offers multiple distance options and timed ultra formats.

Distances

• 10K one loop
• 6 Hours timed ultra, complete as many loops as possible
• 9 Hours timed ultra, complete as many loops as possible

The course is an approximately 6.7 mile loop that combines open field crossings and wooded singletrack. Surface is mainly dirt with some rock, and the terrain ranges from flat to rolling hills. The 10K is run as a single loop; the timed 6 hour and 9 hour events are based on the number of loops completed within the allotted time. Course mileage is approximate and may exceed the suggested 10K per loop.

There will be one aid station at the start/finish supplying water, electrolyte drink options, gels, snacks and basic first aid. Restrooms are available at the start/finish. Participants are required to run with a handheld or a hydration vest. This is a cup free event; participants should bring their own drinking receptacle. Collapsible cups are available for purchase at check in while supplies last.

Online registrations include a technical shirt by Headsweats or an opt out to plant a tree, overnight camping at ICCP, and a custom finisher medal. Awards for top male, female and non binary performers are based on loops and time. Medals and awards must be picked up at the finish and will not be mailed.

The event is part of the Trail Mix Fund partnership, which pays registration fees for runners who cannot afford them.
