Summer Sasquatch

Summer Sasquatch is a two-day trail running event on June 6-7, 2026 at Salt Fork Lodge in Salt Fork State Park, Kimbolton, OH. The races use hiking and bridle trails around Salt Fork Lake on a 10.4-mile loop course.

Distances

  • 50K - three 10.4-mile loops with over 4,000 feet of elevation gain.
  • 20 Mile - two loops on the 10.4-mile loop course.
  • 10 Mile - Saturday - one loop on the same course.
  • 10 Mile - Sunday - one loop offered on Sunday.

The course follows rolling hills on park trails. Hikers may participate. RaceJoy phone tracking and GPS progress alerts are available; participants must carry a phone to use those features. Swag options include a triblend tee and a finisher medal.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in five-year age groups from 19 & Under through 70 & Over. Donations collected at the event benefit Guernsey County Sheriff’s Mounted Search and Rescue. A participant guide and course maps are provided. Salt Fork Lodge lists lodging, dining, pool and game room amenities and offers a race room block with a deposit refundable up to 72 hours prior to arrival.
