Summer Sasquatch

Summer Sasquatch is a trail running event at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio. The event offers three distances on a looped course based on a 10.4-mile loop that uses hiking and bridle trails around Salt Fork Lake. It is part of the Ohio Endurance Series and takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 and Sunday, June 7, 2026.

The 50k distance covers three loops and includes over 4,000 feet of elevation gain. The 20 mile event uses two loops of the same course. The 10 mile option is a single loop and hikers are welcome in that distance. The event includes a triblend tee and a finisher medal as participant swag.

Awards are presented by gender and age group, including Top 3 overall male and female and five-year age-group awards from 19 & under through 70 & over. Donations from the event benefit Guernsey County Sheriff’s Mounted Search and Rescue. Lodging is available at Salt Fork Lodge, which offers rooms, a restaurant, an indoor/outdoor pool and a game room; a special room block is mentioned for event participants.
