The Summer Sasquatch is a trail running event held at Salt Fork State Park in Kimbolton, Ohio. As the largest state park in Ohio, the venue features a diverse landscape consisting of rolling hills. The race utilizes a 10.4-mile loop course that takes participants through the park's network of hiking and bridle trails.

Participants can choose from several distance options held over two days:

  • 50K
  • 20 Miles
  • 10 Miles (available on both Saturday and Sunday)

The event allows runners to experience the natural environment of the park while navigating technical trail terrain. Participants who choose to run on both Saturday and Sunday receive a discount on the Sunday 10 Mile event. All races begin and finish near the Salt Fork State Park Lodge. A community 5k event around Rotary Lake in Barnesville on March 28, 2026 featuring a partly paved, partly natural trail course, a kids fun run, post-event food, and handcrafted nature trophies.
