Tuscazoar Raw

Tuscazoar Raw is a trail event at Camp Tuscazoar on June 20, 2026 offering multiple distances on predominantly natural trails. The organizer presents the race as aimed at runners who want a raw, dirttrail experience; entry fees are kept low.

Distances:

• 100K - two figure eight laps; approximately 10,500 feet elevation gain
• 50K - one figure eight lap
• 25K - splits off the 19 mile loop and returns to the finish

The course starts at the Stockade by the camp main parking lot. Runners follow a roughly 19 mile loop, return to the Stockade, then continue on a separate 12 mile loop to form a figure eight. The surface is mainly trails with about 1.5 miles of packed gravel camp road.

Packet pickup is available Friday, June 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on race morning starting at 4:30 a.m., located by the Stockade near the main parking lot. Crew access is permitted at miles 5.4, 19, 22.5, 25.5 and 31. Aid stations provide hydration and salty and sweet foods; some stations are water only while others offer full aid and varying crew access.

The event is cupless so runners must carry a hydration vessel for refills. There is a 20 hour cutoff for all distances and pacers are not allowed. Every entrant receives a race shirt and a beer ticket; finishers receive a medal. No refunds are given; deferral for 100% credit to the following year is allowed up to three weeks before the race.
