Stort10 10 Mile

Hatfield Broad Oak, United Kingdom • 17 May 2026

The Event

The Stort10 trail race, now in its 43rd year, offers a 10-mile and a 5-mile distance.

  • 10 mile trail race
  • 5 mile trail race

Both races start at the same time. The 10-mile course consists of two loops, while the 5-mile course is a single loop.

The Course

The route is run on farm tracks, footpaths, and woodland trails, with four very short sections on quiet country roads. The roads are not closed to traffic, so vehicles may be present. There are no major inclines. The route crosses a farmyard. Water stations are provided at the 3, 5, and 8-mile points, as well as at the finish line.

Venue

The event takes place at Cammas Hall Farm in Essex, a family-run farm with a café, farm shop, and playground.

Registration and Logistics

Race entry costs £25 for the first 200 entrants, then £28. England Athletics Affiliated runners receive a £2 discount. The entry includes a medal and merchandise. A baggage tent is available at Race HQ. Parking is available near the start/finish area, but car sharing is encouraged.

Distance changes and entry transfers to another runner are possible before a specified deadline, and limited changes may be possible on race day. Refunds and deferrals to the following year are not offered. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race, and a mixed club prize is awarded for both distances.
