Welwyn and Hatfield Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy® 5k obstacle course held at Stanborough Park, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6DF on Sunday 17 May 2026. The route runs within the park on a mix of cross-country terrain and paved paths, and includes bumpy sections plus uphill and downhill slopes. The course features obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding; marshals are available and participants may skip obstacles if needed. Start times are staggered in waves, with each wave spaced 15 minutes apart.

Entry prices listed for the event are Adult £22.49 and Children £12.00, and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. To take part, participants must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children aged 12 and under.

On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and event parking. Dogs are not allowed. There is no bag drop, no showers, and the site is not suitable for pushchairs. The event is deemed not wheelchair accessible due to mixed terrain and inclines; sunflower wristbands and trained event staff support accessibility needs.
