The Stonington Vineyards Wine Run Turkey Trot is a chip-timed 5k held at Stonington Vineyards, 523 Taugwonk Rd, Stonington, CT on November 2, 2025. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine; minors receive a discounted registration and do not receive the wine glass or wine pour. A virtual participation option is available; packet shipping carries a $10 handling charge.
Course, logistics and awards
The course begins and ends at the winery and follows a two-lap, cross-country style route with loops through the vineyards. The route includes areas of uneven footing and is described as suitable for both runners and walkers. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 3:00 to 4:45 pm at Stonington Vineyards; race day pickup is also available starting one hour before the event. Age group awards are offered in 10-year categories, with top finishers receiving awards that must be picked up the day of the event. The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is the event charity partner. Two food trucks will be on site: Dem Boyz Grill and Little B's BBQ.
