The Standish Woodland Chase is scheduled for 02/08/2026 at Horsemarling Farm, GL10 3BT, and is organised by Stroud & District Athletic Club. The route is a multi-terrain course of just over 8 miles, following parts of the Cotswold Way. The course is hilly and is run mainly on woodland trails with some road sections along the Cotswold escarpment. All finishers will receive a metal souvenir medal. A UKA/TRA licence has been applied for. Entry is available at £22.00.

Race details and policies

There is a strict race cut-off of 2 hours; the course will close and no finish times will be issued after this time. Entrants must be aged 16 or over on 02/08/2026. Standard personal listening devices are prohibited; only UKA/EA-approved bone-conducting headphones are permitted. There are no changing rooms, showers, or managed bag drop facilities on site. Emergency contact details should be written on the reverse of the race number. A reminder email with final instructions will be sent one week before the event. Race numbers may be transferred to another runner up to 3 working days before the race through the Eventrac transfer facility. The club does not offer refunds for individual withdrawals, but will refund or offer a place if the event is postponed or cancelled. Event insurance is available to purchase through the Eventrac system. Prizes in vouchers (Bateman Sports) are awarded to top individuals, teams (five runners per team), and vet age categories.
