Sri Chinmoy Canberra Trail Series
The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team stages a five-race winter trail series at popular venues near Canberra. The 2026 schedule lists five events with named courses and distances: Race 1 Cooleman Clip on 26 April; Race 2 Tidbinbilla Thriller on 10 May; Race 3 Red Hill Ramble on 1 June; Race 4 Ainslie Amble on 28 June; Race 5 Aranda Meander on 19 July. Each event offers three distance options.
Distances offered include:
- Short distance, approximately 2 km – 3.6 km
- Middle distance, approximately 5 km – 10.6 km
- Longer distance, approximately 9.6 km – 21.1 km
Entry is by online registration with per-race fees and a one-off bib fee; earlybird entries close two days before each race and late entry rates apply after that time. Some venues have specific access arrangements such as a Tidbinbilla Nature Park day pass payable per vehicle, limited parking at remote start areas, and no mobile phone coverage at certain start locations. Dogs are not permitted at any series races because parts of some courses lie in no dogs areas of Canberra nature parks and reserves.
Prizes include medals for age categories across distances and trophies for the Series Pointscore Championship. Course maps, elevation profiles and gpx files are available for individual races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
