The Sri Chinmoy Canberra Trail Series is a five-race winter competition held at various popular natural venues near Canberra. The series focuses on fitness and self-transcendence, offering participants the opportunity to explore local tracks and trails through a variety of terrains, including fire trails, single tracks, and management roads.

Each event in the series provides three distinct distance options to accommodate different preferences:

  • Short Distance: Typically ranging from 2 km to 3.6 km.
  • Middle Distance: Typically ranging from 5 km on various courses up to 10.6 km.
  • Longer Distance: Ranging from 9.6 km to 21.1 km.

The 2026 series schedule includes the following events:

  • Race 1: "Cooleman Clip" at Cooleman Ridge (26 April), featuring courses of 2.2 km, 5 km, and 9.6 km.
  • Race 2: "Tidbinbilla Thriller" (10 May), featuring distances of 3.4 km, 6.8 km, and 11.8 km.
  • Race 3: "Red Hill Ramble" (1 June), featuring distances of 2.4 km, 8 km, and 12.8 km.

Facilities such as bathrooms and parking vary by location, often utilized from nearby ovals or recreation areas like Chapman Oval or Hackett Oval.

Participants can enter individual races or compete for the Series Pointscore Championship. Medals are awarded to top finishers across various age categories, ranging from under 13 to over 70. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
