Trail Running from Canberra to the Coast

Capital to Coast (C2C) is a multi-stage trail running event that begins in Canberra and concludes at the South Coast. Organized by a committee of volunteer runners associated with Canberra Runners, the event is scheduled to take place during the final weekend of August. The course is divided into nine distinct stages, offering participants a variety of terrain types throughout the journey.

The route consists of a combination of trails, fire roads, and single-track sections. Detailed information regarding elevation profiles and GPS data is provided for each specific stage of the event. To ensure the smooth operation of the race across its various locations, the organization relies on a large group of volunteers who assist at each stage of the course.

Participants have access to various resources including official rules, an event guide, and past results. Registration is managed through a central entry system, and merchandise is available for participants. The event organizers also provide regular communications through newsletters and email updates to keep runners informed about the upcoming schedule and logistics.
