Capital to Coast - Canberra to South Coast

Capital to Coast is a weekend trail running event returning in 2026, held from Friday 28 August to Sunday 30 August. The event is organised by a committee of trail runners and is run as part of Canberra Runners.

The route runs from Canberra to the South Coast and comprises nine stages. The course includes a mix of trail, fire roads and single track. Stages published for the 2025 event are available and the organisers do not anticipate major changes for 2026.

The event website includes pages for entries, event rules and results. The event relies heavily on volunteers and the site lists volunteer options across stages. Previous newsletters are available, a newsletter subscription form is provided, and an Event Guide will be published nearer the event date for entrants.

The event and Canberra Runners include an Acknowledgement of Country recognising Traditional Custodians and paying respect to Elders past and present. The event is supported by sponsors and maintains social links on Facebook and Instagram. Additional site pages cover course details, merchandise and a contact page, and a countdown timer is provided on the site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
