Capital to Coast Canberra to South Coast

Capital to Coast is scheduled for the weekend from Friday 28 August through Sunday 30 August 2026. The event runs over nine stages from Canberra to the South Coast and uses a mix of trail, fire roads and single track. Stages used in 2025 are published and organisers do not anticipate major changes for 2026.

A committee of volunteer trail runners organises the event as part of Canberra Runners. The event depends heavily on volunteers across stages and the website lists volunteering options. Previous newsletters are available to view and visitors can subscribe by email. An Event Guide with key information will be released closer to the event.

The event materials include an Acknowledgement of Country that recognises Traditional Custodians and Elders and extends respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The site also provides links to sponsors, merchandise, results and rules, and maintains social channel listings and a countdown widget.

Information presented focuses on the event structure, organising group and community aspects. Course composition and the nine-stage format are described, while detailed stage maps and the Event Guide are available from the organisers as the event approaches. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
