Jogalong and Mini Jog at Weston Park
Jogalong and Mini Jog are monthly running events held at Weston Park, generally on the first Sunday of each month. Both events take place on dirt tracks and bike paths within the park.
Distances offered:
- Jogalong: 6 km and 3 km handicap events.
- Mini Jog: 2 km handicap event for children aged 12 years and under.
Jogalong allocates the 6 km and 3 km distances for women* and girls; the 3 km distance also includes boys aged 12 years and under. Mini Jog is for children aged 12 years and under.
Entry and membership details are separate for members and non-members. Jogalong and Mini Jog are free to members. Non-members pay an entry fee for Jogalong of $5 for adults and $2 for runners under 18 years, and $2 for Mini Jog. Non-members may attend up to two Canberra Runners events free of charge before paying.
The asterisk after women indicates inclusion of non binary and gender diverse people who may normally include themselves in women’s events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
