SRC Presents: A Backyard Ultra takes place December 12–13, 2026 at Blydenburgh County Park on Veteran's Memorial Highway in Hauppauge, New York, 11788. The event comprises two trail race formats held over the weekend.

The Backyard Ultra format requires participants to complete a loop of 4.167 miles every hour. Runners must complete each loop within the hour or remove themselves from competition; the final competitor to complete a full loop is declared the winner. The event emphasizes repeat hourly laps until a single finisher remains.

Registration details differ by event. Registration opens in early September 2026 and closes on September 7, 2026. The Backyard Ultra registration fee is $85.00. The 1 Lapper registration fee is $20.00. Bib numbers are assigned at check in. Early bib pick up is available at Smithtown Running Company on December 10 and December 11 with specified pickup hours, and bibs can also be collected at the start/finish area on race morning starting at 6:30 am. There will be no on-site registration at Blydenburgh County Park on December 12; only previously registered participants may pick up bibs that morning.
