Squatchy Onesie Fest “5K-Marathon”

Mahwah, United States • 14 Feb 2026

Event overview

The Squatchy Onesiefest 5K is scheduled for February 14, 2026 at Ramapo Valley County Reservation, starting and finishing at the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference (NYNJTC) Headquarters. The event has a onesie theme; awards for top three male, female, and non-binary finishers require wearing a onesie. Capacity is capped at 200 participants. The NY-NJ Trail Conference is the charity partner for the event.

Included for registered participants are a bib with safety pins, a handcrafted finisher's medal, and access to an aid station offering water, Skratch, and snacks. There is no race cutoff - the event closes when the last participant finishes.

Course and logistics

The course is a 1.60-mile lollipop loop that is completed twice to make the 5K. The loop goes around Scarlet Oak Pond and is described as very flat and mellow. Most of the route is wide gravel or packed dirt; a short singletrack connector is under 0.20 miles. Course markings include neon pink/reflective ribbon and large red directional arrows.

Participants should park in the reservation parking lot; the small lot at Headquarters is closed or reserved. Restrooms are available in the reservation parking lot. The organizer provides a first aid kit and AED at Headquarters, private changing tents, and may recommend winter traction. Trekking poles are allowed. Dogs are not permitted. The event does not offer refunds; deferral options and pacer rules for older adults and athletes with disabilities are described by the organizer. Volunteers staff check-in, aid station, course sweep, and other roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
