Squatchy Onesie Fest “5K-Marathon”

Mahwah, United States • 14 Feb 2026

Event overview

The Squatchy Onesiefest 5K is scheduled for February 14, 2026 at Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, New Jersey. The event is co-hosted with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and has a participant cap of 200. Registration options include a full 5K (two loops) and a Fun Run of about 1.6 miles (one loop). Dogs are not allowed. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers who are wearing a onesie.

Course and logistics

The course is a 1.60-mile lollipop loop repeated twice to complete the 5K. With the exception of a short singletrack connector under 0.20 miles, the route is on wide gravel and packed-dirt trail that circles Scarlet Oak Pond. The loop is described as flat and not technical; road shoes are acceptable and winter traction recommendations may be provided before the event. The course will be marked with neon pink or reflective ribbon and red directional arrows.

Aid is provided on course with water, Skratch, and snacks; participants are asked to bring their own cup or bottle. The start/finish and check-in take place at the NYNJTC Headquarters; park in the Reservation parking lot and use the restrooms there. First aid supplies and an AED are available at the headquarters, and private changing tents are provided. Volunteer roles and hardship entry options are available. Refunds are not offered; deferral rules apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
