Squak Mountain Trail Run

Issaquah, United States • 18 Apr 2026

Race Overview

The Squak Mountain Trail Run offers several distances: a 50k, a Half Marathon, a 12k, a 12k Brunch Run, and a Kids Race. The event takes place at Squak Mountain State Park in Issaquah, Washington, a short drive from Seattle. The course is described as rugged and steep, taking place on well-maintained trails through a lush forest environment.

Course Description

All distances begin with a significant climb. The routes then diverge, with the 12k heading towards a summit aid station. The Half Marathon and 50k runners continue to the Southeast Peak of Squak Mountain. These longer distances incorporate loops summiting the West Peak and pass by the historic Bullitt homestead remnants on a fast, technical descent. The 50k includes additional loops before finishing. The trail network has many intersections, so runners are encouraged to study the course map beforehand.

Organizer

The event is organized by Evergreen Trail Runs, a sister brand to Orca Running, a locally-owned race production company.

Registration Policy

Registration closes the day before the event. The organizer's policy states that race entries are non-refundable. Participants who cannot run may have options to defer to the following year, transfer their entry to another person, or switch to a different Evergreen event, with applicable fees.
