Run Along the Cedar River

The Cedar River Half, 10k, and 5k is an athletic event held in Maple Valley, Washington. The course starts and finishes at the Maple Valley Market Place and takes participants through scenic areas including views of Lake Wilderness and the Cedar River. This event is USATF certified and sanctioned, and it provides timed results for all participants.

The course is designed to be flat and fast. Underfoot, the terrain is split between hard-packed limestone and asphalt surfaces. A notable feature of the route involves crossing over river trestles, providing runners with views of the water and the surrounding natural landscape.

Participants can choose from three different race distances:

  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 10 km
  • 5 km

All registered participants receive a deluxe T-shirt and a finisher medal. At the conclusion of the event, hot chili is served to participants at the finish line area, accompanied by music. The event utilizes the trails and local scenery of Maple Valley to provide a road and trail running experience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
