Spring Hops 5K XC

The Spring Hops is a cross country running event held in Mount Airy, Maryland. Organized by the Howard County Striders, the race takes place on the grounds of the Red Shedman Farm Brewery and Linganore Winecellars.

The course consists of mixed terrain that loops through the brewery and winery grounds. Participants run through active hop yards and grapevines. This cross country route is designed to be scenic while navigating the natural landscape of the farm.

Participants who complete the course receive one pour of a Red Shedman beverage as part of their registration. The event location is situated at 13601 Glissans Mill Road. The Howard County Striders, a non-profit organization focused on promoting fitness in central Maryland, provides the organizational support for the race. Knoxville

Run 100 flat miles on the scenic C&O Canal. This April event starts and finishes at Camp Manidokan and is a Western States qualifier. Finishers get a belt buckle and enjoy a post-race meal.
