This trail event takes place at the Wompatuck State Park campgrounds in Hingham, MA on April 11, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the campgrounds, and the field will use staggered start times to manage flow on the trails.
The courses combine trail and some pavement. The 5K loops around Prospect Hill and returns to the campground, with about one mile of pavement and roughly 150 feet of elevation. The 5M and the 8 hour option follow the same 5 mile route with about 350 feet of elevation gain. The 8 hour option consists of repeated laps of the 5 mile route and is limited to 50 entrants; the 8 hour event includes a final lap cutoff.
Support and logistics include a drop bag area at the lap finish for 8 hour participants, a community food and drink table at start and finish with gluten free, vegan and nut free options, a course aid station about 2 miles in, and porta potties at the start and finish. Trail conditions in April may include mud and water. Kids must remain with a parent or guardian, dogs are not allowed, and there are no refunds. Registration closes on April 10 at 11:59 PM ET.
