The event is a trail running event at Wompatuck State Park campgrounds in Hingham, MA, organized by TA Fitness. The course will be run in the opposite direction this year under the "Reverse the Course, Reverse the Curse" format.

The 5K is mostly trail with about one mile of pavement and roughly 150 feet of elevation. The 5M and the 8-Hour use the same approximately 5-mile loop, with about 350 feet of elevation per lap. The 8-Hour option is a repeated 5-mile lap format, limited to 50 runners; 8-Hour racers must start their final lap by 2:50 PM.

Logistics include a drop bag area by the lap finish for 8-Hour runners, a community food and drink table at the start/finish with gluten free and vegan options, and an on-course water and snack aid station around 1.5 miles for the 5K and 3.5 miles for the 5M. Porta potties will be on site at the start/finish. Parking is available at the nearby transfer station a few hundred feet from the campground entrance. A Last Man Standing charity run at EverybodyFights in Boston raising funds for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, with mile repeats, post-run refreshments and raffles.

A four mile beach run at low tide on Nantasket Beach in Hull, Massachusetts. The out and back course starts near the Mary Jeanette Murray Bath House and raises funds for Hull Boosters and The Emma Ryan Memorial Fund.

Trail Animals Running Club holds 10M, 50K and 40M trail races on a mostly forested 10-mile loop at Noon Hill Reservation in Medfield MA.

A 5K off-road trail run, walk, and hike at White Barn Farm through Wrentham conservation land. The event is part of the Farm to Trail 5K Series and raises funds to support local agriculture and food pantry donations.
