Event overview

This trail race takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Wompatuck State Park campgrounds in Hingham, MA (204 Union St). The event offers three distance options:

  • 5K
  • 5M
  • 8-Hour

Starts are staggered. Registration closes on April 10. The 8-Hour field is limited to 50 entrants. There are no refunds. Children must remain with a parent or guardian. Dogs are not allowed. Packet pickup is available the day before at TA Fitness in Weymouth and at the park on race day. Day-of registration may be available if the event is not full.

Course and logistics

The courses are primarily trail with some pavement. The 5K loops around Prospect Hill, includes about one mile of pavement and roughly 150 feet of elevation gain. The 5M and the 5-mile loop used by the 8-Hour option have about 350 feet of elevation gain. The 8-Hour option consists of repeated laps of the 5-mile route and has a required cutoff for starting a final lap.

Support and facilities include a drop bag area near the lap finish for 8-Hour runners, a community food and drink table at the start/finish with gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options, an on-course water and snack aid station around 2 miles, porta potties at the start/finish, and parking at a transfer station a few hundred feet from the campground. Trail conditions in April may include mud and standing water. Every finisher receives a custom award; early registrants before March 25 receive additional race swag.
