Spokane River Run 2026

Spokane River Run takes place on April 19, 2026 at Riverside State Park - Seven Mile Airstrip in Nine Mile Falls, WA. The event is 100% volunteer-organized and supports the Garfield Elementary A.P.P.L.E. program and partner organizations: Garfield Elementary, Active4Youth, On Track Academy, and North Central High School Cross Country.

The event offers multiple trail distances:

  • 5K for ages 12 and under
  • 5K for ages 13 and up
  • 10K
  • 25K
  • 25K Challenge
  • 50K
  • 50K Relay
  • 25K Tag Team (two-person relay)

All registrants receive a race shirt; registering before April 1 guarantees a shirt size. Runners in the 25K and 50K may choose a technical tee. All 25K and 50K finishers receive a finisher medal; top three finishers in each age group for each distance receive awards in the non-binary, female, and male categories. To opt out of awards consideration, registrants may select Prefer Not to Say for gender.

Relay teams may enter a team name for a volunteer vote; the winning team receives a custom shirt. Each relay leg is approximately 7 to 8 miles. Post-race provisions include snacks and the Garland Brew Werks Beer Garden. Parking at the park requires a Washington State Parks Discover Pass.
