The event is a timed maximum-distance format: participants aim to cover as many miles as possible within 13 hours. Organizers describe the event as a test of holistic strength - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Course and format

The event starts and finishes at Selkirk Lodge in Mount Spokane State Park. The marked route follows the Quartz Mountain Lookout Trail as an out-and-back of 4.5 miles per loop. Participants record completed loops by marking a tally on their bib after each loop; bibs are displayed at Selkirk Lodge during the event.

Logistics and support

A fully stocked aid station at Selkirk Lodge will provide food, water, and electrolytes throughout the event. Participants are advised to bring their usual personal nutrition. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before at Kendall Yards Fleet Feet and on event day at Selkirk Lodge; there is also a pre-race briefing at the race location. All entrants must have a Discover Pass for park entry.

Results and awards

All finishers receive a Phase One Training tee at packet pick-up and a patch at the finish. Participants who reach 50 miles receive a custom buckle.
