ZERO DARK ULTRA - Spokane, WA
ZERO DARK ULTRA takes place on August 8, 2026 in Spokane, WA, and is organized by Phase One Missions. The event uses a 1.56 mile continuous loop on dirt and wood chip trail surfaces. Participants may run or ruck and are invited to complete as many loops as they can within the chosen time format.
Phase One training grounds are staged across multiple local areas, including the Reardan Cross Country track in Seven Mile, Riverside State Park, and Mt Spokane State Park. The event offers several timed formats including a 24 hour run, and additional shorter run and ruck options. A Tiny Titans Ultra option allows parents to run alongside children for one loop.
Ruck participants must wear a pack or vest not exceeding 45 pounds. The event encourages self sufficiency; required gear includes a headlamp, running gear, food, water, and electrolytes. One semi stocked aid station will provide water, snacks, Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 energy gels, and 1st Phorm protein bars and drinks to supplement individual fueling plans.
All entrants receive a Phase One training tee. A custom buckle is awarded to 100 mile finishers and a patch is provided to other finishers. Volunteers receive discounts based on hours contributed. Registration closes on August 7, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
