The Whitewater Trail Challenge takes place in Whitewater, Wisconsin at Rice Lake Nature Trail (Lot 1 & 2, 221 North Prince St.) on June 20, 2026. Distances offered include:

Course and logistics
The course uses a scenic portion of the Ice Age Trail, a 1,200 mile footpath across Wisconsin, and follows an out-and-back route from Rice Lake. Trail conditions vary from smooth and well-maintained to highly technical, and footing can change quickly between connected segments. Course maps and elevation profiles for each distance are provided for the event.
For the 50K, runners must carry at least 1 liter of water capacity. Intermediate race cutoffs are safety-based and will be indicated by race staff and volunteers.
