The Whitewater Trail Challenge takes place on a scenic segment of the Ice Age Trail, with an out-and-back course from Rice Lake near the town of Whitewater. The route shows glacial landforms and moves across sections that range from smooth and well maintained to more technical footing, reflecting the patchwork nature of the Ice Age Trail.
