Whitewater Trail Challenge

The Whitewater Trail Challenge takes place at Rice Lake Nature Trail near the town of Whitewater, Wisconsin. The course uses a short, scenic out and back section of the Ice Age Trail, a 1,200 mile footpath that highlights the landscape shaped by glaciers and is one of eleven National Scenic Trails.

The Ice Age Trail route includes connected segments that vary in upkeep and technical difficulty. Trail surfaces on the event course can change quickly and range from smooth and well maintained to extremely technical, so footing may be uneven in places.

The event is presented as a Spartan Trail race and offers multiple distance options on the same general route. Logistics listed for the event include arrival and race day materials, volunteer opportunities, and information about where to stay nearby.
