Kettle Moraine is a multi-distance trail running event held near LaGrange, Wisconsin at N9084 County Road H. The event features exclusively trail terrain with a few road crossings; about 65 miles of the course follows the Ice Age Trail. Distances offered include:
- 100 Miler
- 100K
- 50K
- 38 Miler
- 100M Relay
Registration uses a lottery system with a signup window from December 1 to December 30 and a drawing on January 1 at 11:00 AM Central time. Runners not selected in the lottery are automatically placed on a waitlist; the waitlist opens once registration fills and invites are issued as spots become available. Early pricing is offered during the lottery period for each distance.
Entry requires an honor-system contribution of eight hours of local volunteer service prior to the race. The event also enforces a Wisconsin IDNR parking pass for every vehicle; the race entry includes a pass that is distributed at packet pickup. Rollover and credit options are available under specified deadlines; no refunds or transfers are permitted. Finishing the 100 mile distance within 30 hours is recognized as a qualifier for Western States 100. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
