Spacerock Trail Race
Agua Dulce, United States • 17 Oct 2026
Event overview
The SPACEROCK Trail Race is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park in Agua Dulce, California. The event offers multiple trail distances on loops inside the park. The Half Marathon+ course covers just under 14 miles and includes over 3,200 feet of cumulative elevation gain and descent. The race uses sections of the Pacific Crest Trail and includes a tunnel called the Black Hole that is more than 500 feet long.
Courses and support
The trails feature packed dirt, sandy creek beds, rocks, boulders, canyons, and single-track sections. Course descriptions note moderate climbing on the 5K and 10K loops, a large mountain climb on the 15K, and extensive climbing on the Half Marathon+. Aid stations are positioned along the course; runners will pass between two and six stations depending on distance. Aid supplies include water, electrolytes from a hydration sponsor, gels, chews, salt capsules, and snacks. The event is operating as a cupless race at aid stations, so participants are asked to use personal cups, bottles, or hydration packs.
