SPACEROCK Trail Race at Vasquez Rocks
The SPACEROCK Trail Race is a trail running event held at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park in Agua Dulce, CA on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event offers multiple loop courses that start and finish inside the park near 10700 Escondido Canyon Road.

The park features distinctive rock formations, canyons, sandy creek beds, rocks and boulders. Course surfaces include packed dirt, sandy sections and single-track trails. The Half Marathon+ covers just under 14 miles with more than 3200 feet of elevation gain and descent. The 15K includes a large mountain climb and extended single-track sections on the Pacific Crest Trail. Both the 15K and Half Marathon+ pass through a dark tunnel on the Pacific Crest Trail that is over 500 feet long. The 5K and 10K follow a loop inside Vasquez Rocks with some moderate climbing.
Race support includes five aid stations positioned along the courses; runners encounter between two and six stations depending on distance. Stations provide water, electrolyte products from Gnarly Nutrition, gels, chews, salt capsules and snacks. The event has a cupless policy at aid stations and provides refill access at course stations. Finisher items listed for participants include a collectible medal, shirt and a space bag.
