Spacerock Trail Race

SPACEROCK Trail Race, Vasquez Rocks, Agua Dulce CA

The SPACEROCK Trail Race takes place at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park on October 17, 2026 as the event's tenth anniversary. It offers multiple looped trail distances on the park's rocky terrain and iconic formations.

Trails include packed dirt, sandy creek beds, rocks, and boulders with sections of single track and moderate to steep climbing. A notable feature is the Black Hole tunnel, a dark tunnel of roughly 500 feet encountered on the 15K and Half Marathon+ courses. The Half Marathon+ covers just under 14 miles and includes over 3200 feet of elevation gain and descent; it is sometimes described as an "Ultra Half."

Course support includes multiple aid stations so runners will encounter between two and six stations depending on distance. Stations provide water, electrolytes from Gnarly Nutrition, gels, chews, salt capsules, and snacks. The race operates a cupless policy at aid stations; participants are asked to use a personal collapsible cup, bottle, or hydration pack.

Participant items and services for 2026 include a collectible finisher medal, official shirt, space bag, finisher certificate, free race photos, podium awards, finish line food and water, and event insurance.
