The Griffith Park Trail Marathon takes place in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Registration for the event is open for a limited period and closes on October 28, 2025. Bib pickup is available on race morning at the start line.

Course and support

The main course is an out-and-back route that uses a mix of single-track trails and double-track fire roads. The route reaches the summit of the Hollywood sign. Runners on the full marathon course are allowed 9 hours to complete the distance.

Aid stations are placed at multiple locations along the courses. Examples for the longer courses include Joe Klass Aid (Mile 2.5, full aid), Bird Sanctuary (Mile 5, water only), and Mineral Wells (around Mile 8.5, full aid and water fill).
