About the race
The Mulholland Under the Stars Trail Race takes place on November 7, 2026, at Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park in Tarzana, CA. The event offers marked night trail courses on fire roads with start and finish at the trailhead lot.

Courses are fully marked and the park remains open to other users during the event. Per event rules, all runners must start with a working headlamp or flashlight that will last the entire race; lights are checked at bib pick-up and no light means no start under park safety protocol.
Support on course includes aid stations at Mile 1.5 and Mile 3.1 (turnaround), sweepers placed ahead, mid pack, and behind, and medical staffing at the start/finish and at the aid locations. Facilities at the trailhead lot include porta-potties and packet pick-up. All finishers receive a medal and a race shirt to pick up after the race.
Registration closes November 5 and prices increase on September 1 and October 1; listed totals include taxes and processing fees. Participants are asked to pack out their trash; course markings will be removed after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
