Southern Tour Ultra

Event information

The Southern Tour Ultra takes place January 16-17, 2026 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The event uses a 10-mile loop format with the following race options:

• 100 Mile Individual
• 50 Mile Individual
• 50K
• 50 Mile Age Graded Relay
• PRE-PURCHASE 50 Mile Team

The loop structure is described as 10 x 10 miles for the 100, 5 x 10 miles for the 50, and 3 x 10 miles for the 50K. Published entry fees are $225 for the 100 Mile, $115 for the 50 Mile, $95 for the 50K, $65 for the 50 Mile relay, and $600 to pre-purchase a 50 Mile team. Several events are listed as full or sold out.

Logistics and rules

Packet pickup is available at the Southern Tour race site and at Fleet Feet Sports Wilmington. Shuttle service and camping are part of the event operations; a camping pass is required to enter the race site. Organizers list mandatory pre-race meetings for the 50 Mile, 50K, and relay events. A course sweep is scheduled later in the day, and all athletes are required to be finished and off the course by evening. Site clear-out is planned for the morning after the event, and participants are asked to remove their trash.

The race is on private land that is actively hunted during that season and monitored with trail cameras; participants and the public are asked not to enter or train on the property before the event.
