South Mountain Half Marathon

Course and Location

The South Mountain Half Marathon takes place on May 2, 2026, at Olympic Park in Lehi, Utah. The course is a 13.1-mile paved route along the Jordan River Parkway trail system. It is an out-and-back course with a total elevation gain of +624 ft. The route passes Thanksgiving Point and climbs into the foothills of South Mountain in Bluffdale, offering views of Utah and Salt Lake counties.

Aid and Navigation

The course features several aid stations stocked with Gatorade, water, Honey Stinger products, fruit, and snacks. The route is marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals. There is no cutoff time for the race.

Event Amenities

Registered participants receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal. A post-race breakfast is provided by Great Harvest Bread. Free race photos are available from Xotio Media, and live results are provided. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age divisions.
