Event Information

The Slieve Gullion Mountain Race takes place in County Armagh. The event is organized by Armagh AC as part of the IMRA Ulster Championships and the NIMRA Championships.

Course Details

The course covers a distance of 6.30 km with a total climb of 320 meters. The race difficulty is classified as moderate terrain. The route is not fully marked; only major junctions are indicated. The use of GPS devices is not allowed.

Mandatory Kit

All runners must bring a specific set of mandatory equipment to the event, categorized as Level B - Standard kit. This includes:

  • Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent
