Sleigh It is a multi-format running event held at Lake Wailes Park in Lake Wales, Florida. The event uses a 4.17 mile loop around Lake Wailes Lake with a central Runners Village at Lake Wailes Park, 33 N Lake Shore Blvd, Lake Wales FL 33853. The course surface is a mix of grass and asphalt and follows an out-and-back pattern from the Runners Village.

Distances and formats:

• 4.17 mile loop
• 6 hour timed event
• 12 hour timed event
• 12 hour relay, teams up to five members

Runners in the timed events complete as many laps as they can within the allotted time; a lap must be finished to count toward a 6 hour or 12 hour result. The 4.17 mile event consists of a single loop. Aid stations are located at each end of the out-and-back sections. Parking is at the Runners Village.

Relay teams may rotate members as they choose, with one team member running at a time. Teams must complete eight laps to receive a finish award; all team members who finish receive a finish award. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 4.17 mile, 6 hour, and 12 hour events; master awards follow for the next over-40 male and female finishers. The top two relay teams receive overall awards.

Event capacity is limited to the first 100 entrants. All runners receive a long sleeve shirt. A selection of hot grilled food and typical race snacks and beverages is available at the Runners Village. Registration deadlines include a date to guarantee shirt sizes and a general closing date.
