This is a course preview and training run for the 2026 LH100 held in Lakeland, FL on December 13, 2025. The event takes place at Colt Creek State Park, 16000 State Road 471, and uses the Middle Lake Day Use pavilion (Parking Area A) as the meeting point. Course and facilities

The course will be marked and participants can run a loop of 16.8 miles or longer. Organizers will provide a few water stops; water will be available at the run start, at the group camp (AS 1 during the race), and near the hard right turns around miles 12 and 15.5. All on-course stops will be unstaffed and supply water only. Bathrooms and ample parking are available at the day use area. A group campground is reserved Friday and Saturday nights; it is primitive tent camping only, with no water or electricity. Participants are advised to bring food and electrolytes and to keep drop bags or coolers in their vehicles because the park is open to the public. Directions to the start: after passing the gate, take the first right, go through the small parking lot, then down the shell road. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
