SISU 24 PNW

SISU 24 PNW is a 24 continuous hour choose your own adventure trail event at Camp Sheppard, Enumclaw, WA on June 26-27, 2027. The format awards base points for completed trails and bonus points for optional side quests, with a live leaderboard tracking solo runners and three person teams.

The course consists of six distinct trails ranging from about 3 to 19 miles roundtrip. Terrain is Pacific Northwest singletrack with roots, rocks, forest floor, switchbacks, scrambles, and varying elevation gain; some routes offer sustained climbs while others roll more gently. Each trail returns to basecamp, so runners can repeat routes, rotate through different trails, or focus on particular segments.

Side quests are optional challenges placed on trails. They include physical tasks, mental tests, and creative or strategic challenges such as recording a short video at a waterfall, carrying an egg intact across rugged trail, or learning and later recalling a new knot. Completing side quests multiplies a participant's score and changes leaderboard dynamics.

Basecamp at Camp Sheppard provides campsites, running water, hot showers, flush toilets, water, medical support, and space for crew. The event is self supported in that participants bring their own food, nutrition, and personal gear, while common aid items and water are available at camp.
