Event overview
SISU 24 Ultra PNW is a multi-format endurance event held June 27, 2026, at Camp Sheppard near Enumclaw, WA, close to Mount Rainier National Park and Crystal Mountain. The event offers a 24-hour solo option, a 24-hour team option (teams of three), and a 100-mile option. Registration includes three days and two nights of camping at the Boy Scout camp.
Format, trails and scoring
The event uses six marked out-and-back trails with distances that range from 3 miles to 18.9 miles. Participants choose routes from base camp, stamp a quest log at the far point of each trail, and check in and out at HQ for verification. Main quests require completing marked trails; each trail carries a point value that changes with participation. Optional side quests on trails and at camp award additional points. Examples of past side quests include midnight yoga, connect-the-dots, carrying an egg, sudoku, trivia, and knot tying. Top finishers receive small physical tokens at checkpoints.
Logistics, gear and awards
Camping amenities include flushing toilets, showers, sinks, and BBQ stands. Water sources are available on trails; participants are required to bring a water filtration device. Required gear includes a headlamp, hydration pack or bottles, water filtration device, food for 24 hours, and an ink pad. Every participant receives a custom wood round medal; awards include top male and female placings, top teams, a SISU Spirit Award, and a custom buckle for 100-mile finishers. Registration closes Fri, Jun 5, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
