SISU 24 PNW - Choose Your Own Adventure
SISU 24 PNW is a 24 hour choose-your-own-adventure trail event held at Camp Sheppard in Enumclaw, WA. Participants run or hike six distinct singletrack routes through Pacific Northwest forest, earning base points for completed trails and bonus points by unlocking optional side quests. Live leaderboard tracking updates standings throughout the event. Entries may be solo or three person teams.
The course offers a range of routes from shorter laps to long mountain outings. Elevation and terrain vary by trail; all routes include notable climbing and technical singletrack with roots, rocks, and occasional scrambles. Because every trail returns to basecamp, participants can rely on their tent or crew at Camp Sheppard as a personal aid station.
Distances for the six named trails:
- Dalles Falls - 3.25 miles, 406 ft elevation
- Snoquera Falls - 3.75 miles, 802 ft elevation
- Goat Falls - 9.85 miles, 1298 ft elevation
- Little Ranger Lookout - 9.10 miles, 1604 ft elevation
- Little Ranger Peak - 12.65 miles, 2872 ft elevation
- Noble Knob - 18.91 miles, 3997 ft elevation
Side quests are optional challenges placed on trails; some are physical, some mental, some time-based, and some appear without warning. Camp Sheppard provides campsites, showers, flush toilets, water, and on-site medical support while participants are expected to be self-supported for their personal food and gear.
