Silver Moon Race : Kings River (Reedley, CA)

The Silver Moon Race is an overnight lap event held on a weekend closest to the full moon. The 2026 Kings River edition is scheduled for April 4-5, 2026 in Reedley, California. The course runs through scenic farms, vineyards, fruit orchards, under oak trees, and along the Kings River. The race begins before sunset and continues through the night into sunrise. Paso Robles is a possible future location but not confirmed for 2026.

The event uses a lap course with lap lengths of 2 miles or 2.5 miles. Runners may enter solo or as part of a 4-person team relay; relay teams take turns completing laps or sets of laps equally. Solo runners are allowed pacers on the course and may use a crew for support. Sections of the course are decorated with lights and light arches to aid night running.
