Kiwanis River Run
The Kiwanis River Run is scheduled for September 19, 2026 in Fresno at George's River Ranch (8805 CA-41). The event includes multiple distances and takes place along routes beside the San Joaquin River.
- 10K Trail Run (scenic river trail)
- 5K Run/Walk (timed)
- 2 Mile Fun Walk/Run (timed, no placement awards)
- Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run (open to ages 10 and under, non timed)
The course comprises off road and trail sections under tree cover with three scenic route options adjacent to the river. The start and finish are in a shaded park like area with free parking nearby. Participants receive a custom t shirt and a finisher medal. A free breakfast including crepes with strawberries and whipped cream, coffee, and juice is provided.
Awards for the 5K include special gold medals for overall male and female winners and plush prizes for top finishers. The event features an opportunity drawing and an auction; each participant receives a ticket for the drawing. Proceeds support the Pediatric Trauma Injury Prevention Program at Valley Children's Hospital. Race packet pick up is offered at Fleet Feet Fresno.
