Kiwanis River Run

The Kiwanis River Run takes place on Saturday September 19, 2026 in Fresno, California at George's River Ranch, beside the San Joaquin River. The event includes off road and trail routes set in a shaded park like area with plentiful free parking near the start and finish.

Distances offered include:

  • 10K Trail Run scenic river trail
  • 5K Run/Walk timed event with awards
  • 2 Mile Fun Walk/Run timed with no placement awards
  • Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run non timed for ages 10 and under

Participants receive a custom t shirt and a finisher medal, and breakfast is provided including crepes with strawberries and whipped cream, coffee, and juice. The 5K awards include a plush prize for the top three finishers and special overall gold medals for male and female winners. Each participant also receives a free ticket for an opportunity drawing and additional tickets are available at the event. A live auction will feature signed sports memorabilia and other items.
