The Kiwanis River Run is a running event scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026. It takes place at George's River Ranch in Fresno, California.
Distances
The event offers four different distances:
- 10K Trail Run on a scenic river trail.
- 5K Run/Walk.
- 2 Mile Fun Walk/Run, which is timed but does not offer placement awards.
- Kids 1/4 Fun Run, a non-timed event open to participants aged 10 and under.
Location and Course
The event is held at George’s River Ranch, located at 8805 CA-41 in Fresno. The runner assembly area and start/finish line are in a shaded, park-like setting next to the San Joaquin River. The courses are off-road and trail routes along the river.
Event Details
Check-in opens at 7:00 AM on race day. There is plenty of free parking available near the event area. A race packet pick-up is also available the day before at Fleet Feet Fresno. Every participant receives a custom t-shirt and a finisher medal. A free breakfast is provided, featuring items like crepes with strawberries and whipped cream, coffee, and juice. There is an opportunity drawing with prizes, and an auction featuring autographed memorabilia.
