Kiwanis River Run : Fresno, CA

The Kiwanis River Run takes place on September 19, 2026, at George’s River Ranch (formerly Panoche Creek River Ranch), 8805 CA-41, Fresno, CA 93720. This is the 4th annual edition. Proceeds support the Pediatric Trauma - Injury Prevention Program at Valley Children’s Hospital. The event features off-road and trail courses along the San Joaquin River, with a shaded park-like start/finish area and free parking near the site. There are three scenic route options following riverside trails. Race packet pick-up is handled at Fleet Feet Fresno, 9447 N Fort Washington Rd. #106.

  • Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run - non-timed, open to ages 10 and under.

Every participant receives a custom t-shirt and a finisher medal. Breakfast is provided to participants and includes crepes with strawberries and whipped cream, coffee, and juice. Awards and giveaways include a George the Giraffe plush for the top three 5K finishers, special gold medals for overall 5K male and female winners, an opportunity drawing for participants, and an auction with listed collectible items. Trail runs nearby

Run or walk the 5k or 10k on scenic single track trails and dirt roads at Sycamore Island in support of the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust. Expect river views, an aid station, a custom finisher medal and event shirt.

Run the scenic San Joaquin River Trail in foothill single track for a challenging half marathon or 10K, with rugged climbs, sweeping views, and finishers medals and shirts. Enjoy aid stations along the route and post race refreshments.

Run the Sanger Blossom Trail Run on March 7 for a flat, scenic course through downtown Sanger and blooming orchards. Choose from a 10K, shorter runs and walks for all ages and enjoy a family friendly community event held rain or shine.

Run the Tesoro Viejo Spring Classic in Madera with half marathon, 10k, 5k or virtual options along tree lined trails and rolling hills. Finishers get a tech shirt and custom medal, plus a festival with live music and local treats.
